At the turn of April and May, Gdynia's second modern marina will start operating. It is part of the Yacht Park complex being built by Polski Holding Nieruchomości on Dalmor's former industrial areas.
The marina has space for up to 120 units. Currently, the investor is also building the harbor master's office.
- We have completed the works on the surface part, and we are now working on the harbor master's office, - said Magdalena Kacprzak from Polski Holding Nieruchomości, the investor responsible for the construction of the Yacht Park and the marina. "The marina will be equipped with functional facilities tailored to the needs of the most demanding sailors."
The Marina Yacht Park will be officially opened before the start of this year's sailing season. As the investor announces, the first units may arrive there already at the turn of April and May.
The new marina is much needed, because its older counterpart near the beach in the city center, although expanded and modernized, is too small already. This is because the city hosts sailing events, such as Volvo Gdynia Sailing Days and various types of rallies, and interest in this beautiful sport is increasing. This year in July, the Youth Sailing World Championship will begin - a huge and prestigious event in which about five hundred competitors from several dozen countries will take part. This is why Gdynia and the Tri-City may justly call themselves the sailing capital of Poland right next to Masuria, which is also in love with this sport.
The marina and the surrounding buildings will be eye-catching and modern.
The marina will be adjacent to the state-of-the-art residential and service complex Yacht Park. On the yachtpark.pl website, the company carrying out this stunning project has presented the progress of construction works since January last year.
