The construction of the marina in Gdynia's President's Pool is gaining momentum. The project carried out by Polski Holding Nieruchomości might be ready in 2019.

In 2017, Polski Holding Nieruchomości started the construction of the Yacht Park Gdynia housing estate at the Molo Rybackie, where for several decades the Deep Sea Fishing Company Dalmor was located. A marina in the northern part of the President's Pool is an integral part of the project. And although the construction of apartment buildings will probably end in 2020, the marina may be made available to sailors earlier.

-If construction progresses according to schedule, we would like to commission the marina already in the next season,- said Magdalena Kacprzak, Head of the Marketing, Strategy, Investor Relations and PR Office at Polski Holding Nieruchomości S.A. - Currently, floating piers are being mounted and works are being carried out related to the sinking of permanent anchors and installing the Seaflex anchoring system.

According to the project, the marina in Gdynia will contain 120 berths. 72 berths will be allocated for units shorter than 14 meters (LOA), 42 for units shorter than 12 meters and 6 berths for units below 10 meters. In addition, there will be 8 berths for docking scooters. It is already known that some of them will be reserved for the owners of apartments in the Yacht Park housing estate. As part of the project, a harbor master's office will be built on Pier No. 1, which will include social facilities, a laundry room, toilets and a room for training and meetings.

Polski Holding Nieruchomości S.A. has not yet chosen the marina operator.
